Outlets & Dedicated Circuits

New receptacles, GFCI protection, 240V outlets, and dedicated circuits for the equipment that shouldn't share power with anything else.

Some loads deserve their own breaker: space heaters in a home office, a garage freezer, a window AC, welders and compressors in a shop, hot tubs, and kitchen appliances. We run dedicated circuits sized and protected correctly, and add receptacles where your home never had enough.

We also bring older homes up to modern protection standards: GFCI where water lives (kitchens, baths, garages, exterior), tamper-resistant receptacles, and replacement of worn, loose, or two-prong outlets — including proper grounding fixes rather than cosmetic three-prong swaps.

What we handle

  • New receptacles indoors and out
  • Dedicated 120V and 240V circuits (appliances, shops, hot tubs)
  • GFCI and AFCI protection and troubleshooting
  • USB and USB-C combination outlets
  • Two-prong outlet grounding corrections
  • Exterior and holiday-lighting receptacles on switched circuits
FAQ

Common questions

Why do my outlets spark or feel warm?

Worn contacts, loose terminations, or an overloaded circuit. A warm faceplate is an early warning — have it looked at before it becomes a melted one.

Can you add an outlet behind my wall-mounted TV?

Yes — a recessed receptacle behind the TV with an in-wall rated cable path is a quick, clean job.

What needs a dedicated circuit by code?

Common ones: microwave, dishwasher, disposal, laundry, fridge (recommended), bathroom receptacle circuits, EV chargers, and most fixed 240V appliances. We'll flag what your home is missing.
