Code Corrections & Inspections

Failed-inspection fixes, older-home code updates, and pre-sale corrections — from a contractor who knows the 2023 NEC and your local inspectors.

A failed inspection or a home-inspector's repair list doesn't have to derail your closing or your project. We read the report, fix exactly what's cited, and coordinate the re-inspection. Because we work with AHJs across Wake, Durham, Orange, Guilford, Forsyth, and Alamance counties every week, we know what each office actually wants to see.

We also bring older homes up to current standards proactively — GFCI/AFCI protection, grounding and bonding, smoke/CO interconnection — prioritized by safety impact so you can phase the budget.

FAQ

Common questions

Can you fix just the items on my inspection report?

Yes. We quote line-by-line against the report so you (or your buyer's agent) can see exactly what each correction costs.

How fast can corrections be done before a closing?

Tell us the closing date up front. Straightforward lists are often turned around within days, including the paperwork your attorney or agent needs.

My house was wired by a previous owner. Is that a problem?

Unpermitted DIY wiring is one of the most common things we correct. We'll assess what's safe, what's not, and what an inspector will flag — honestly, without inflating the scope.
