Ceiling Fan Installation

New fan installs, replacements, and retrofits for rooms that were never wired for one — on fan-rated boxes that actually hold the weight.

A ceiling fan hanging from a light-fixture box is a fan waiting to fall. We install fans on properly rated fan boxes and braces, balance them so they don't wobble, and wire the controls the way you want them — pull chain, wall switch, remote, or smart control.

No existing fixture in the room? We retrofit: fish the wiring, set the box and brace, and add the switch, with minimal drywall disturbance.

FAQ

Common questions

Can you install a fan where there's only a light fixture?

Usually yes — but the box must be swapped for a fan-rated box or brace. Standard light boxes aren't rated for the weight and vibration of a fan. That swap is part of our standard install.

Can you add a fan to a room with no ceiling fixture at all?

Yes. We fish new wiring from the nearest suitable circuit or the switch location, install a braced fan box, and patch-minimize along the way.

Why does my fan wobble?

Usually blade imbalance, a worn mount, or a non-fan-rated box. We diagnose which one it is and fix it rather than guessing.
