Level 2 home EV charger installation on a dedicated 240V circuit — permitted, inspected, and done in a day in most homes.
We install Level 2 home chargers across the Triangle and the Triad on dedicated 240V circuits — either a NEMA 14-50 receptacle or a hardwired unit, whichever your charger and your panel call for. We work with every major brand: Tesla Wall Connector, ChargePoint, Wallbox, Emporia, Autel, and the charger that came with your car.
Before we quote, we check your panel capacity. If your panel can't take another 50A circuit, we'll tell you straight and price the load-management or panel-upgrade options side by side — no surprises on install day. Every install is permitted and inspected.
Most home installs are done in half a day once the permit is in hand. A long circuit run or a panel that needs work can extend that, and we'll tell you before we start.
Not always. We run a load calculation first. Many 200A panels take a charger circuit with no changes; older 100A panels often need a load-management device or an upgrade. We price both paths up front.
Duke Energy's residential Charger Prep Credit covers up to roughly $1,133 of qualifying wiring costs for eligible NC homeowners. We'll help you confirm eligibility and file the paperwork.
