How we collect, use, and protect your information.
This Privacy Policy describes how Electra Solutions LLC ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit electrasolutionsnc.com, contact us by phone, text, or email, or use our online booking and quote-request tools.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details: name, phone number, email, service address.
- Service request details: description of the electrical issue, scope, photos you choose to share, preferred times.
- Payment information: processed by Housecall Pro and our card processor — we don't store full card numbers on our systems.
- Communications: messages you send us via SMS, email, our quote form, or the booking widget.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages viewed, referring URL, approximate location (city-level from IP), device type, browser. Collected via Google Analytics 4.
- Cookies and similar: Google Analytics sets first-party cookies to measure site activity. Housecall Pro embeds may set their own cookies when you open the booking widget or quote form.
2. How we use your information
- Schedule, dispatch, and complete electrical work you've requested.
- Estimate, invoice, and accept payment for that work.
- Reply to your questions and follow up on appointments.
- Send appointment reminders and service updates by text or email.
- Send marketing or promotional text messages only if you've explicitly opted in via the consent checkbox on our quote form. You can opt out by replying STOP at any time. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
- Improve the website, fix bugs, and understand which services and pages are most useful.
- Comply with legal obligations (tax records, NC contractor licensing requirements, court orders).
3. SMS / text messaging and preferred contact method
If you submit our quote form or the EV Charger Qualifier and select Text or Call as your preferred method of contact, you agree to be contacted by Electra Solutions LLC at the phone number you provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors and service providers (such as our scheduling platform Housecall Pro) is permitted only to deliver the messages and services you requested.
3a. The EV Charger Qualifier funnel
The page at electrasolutionsnc.com/ev-qualify.html collects answers to a 9-question pre-qualification quiz (ZIP code, utility, ownership, property type, EV status, charging method, parking, panel distance, panel size) plus your name, email, mobile phone, address, and your preferred contact method. We use these answers to confirm you're a fit for the Duke Energy Charger Prep Credit and to schedule a free in-home assessment. The data is processed only by Electra Solutions LLC and the operational providers listed in Section 4. It is never sold, shared with lead brokers, or used by any third party for marketing.
4. How we share information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone — ever. Your details are not passed to lead brokers, marketing networks, or any third-party data partner. The only data sharing that occurs is with the operational service providers below, and only for the purpose of doing the work you've asked us to do.
We share only what's necessary to operate the business:
- Service providers we rely on:
- Housecall Pro — scheduling, invoicing, payments, customer messaging.
- Google — Analytics for site measurement, Google Ads for digital marketing.
- Hostinger — web hosting.
- Subcontractors and trade partners — when their work is required for a job (HVAC, low-voltage, structural). They receive only the information necessary to perform that work.
- Legal and safety — to comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights and safety of customers, our team, or the public.
5. How long we keep information
We keep customer records for as long as we have an active relationship with you, plus the period required by NC tax and contractor-license recordkeeping rules (typically 7 years from the last service). Analytics data is retained for 14 months in Google Analytics 4. You can request deletion sooner — see Section 7.
6. Security
We use HTTPS for all website traffic, restrict access to customer records to authorized team members, and rely on PCI-compliant processors (Housecall Pro and our card processor) for payment data. No system is perfect — if you see something off, tell us right away.
7. Your choices and rights
- Access, correction, deletion. Email contact@electrasolutionsnc.com with the request and the email or phone number we have on file. We'll respond within 30 days.
- Opt out of SMS: reply STOP to any message.
- Opt out of analytics: install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or use your browser's "Do Not Track" settings.
- California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah residents: you have additional rights under your state's privacy law (right to know, right to delete, right to opt out of sale/sharing). We don't sell personal information. To exercise other rights, email us as above and identify your state.
8. Children
Our services are for homeowners and adult customers. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe we've received information from a child, contact us and we'll delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and, when appropriate, notify you by email or a notice on the home page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
