Duke Energy — Charger Prep Credit

Most NC coverage

Covers the make-ready electrical work to prep your site for EV charging — wiring, service upgrades, conduit. It does not cover the charger hardware or network fees.

Max credit: Up to ~$30,347 per non-residential site
What's covered: Wiring, panel upgrades, trenching, make-ready
Who qualifies: Duke Energy Carolinas & Progress business customers
Stack with: Manufacturer and hardware rebates

Credit amount varies by charger type, total kW, and whether service upgrades are required. We run eligibility for free before you sign anything.

Dominion Energy NC — Level 2 Program

Northeastern NC only

Turn-key Level 2 charging installation with a 50% upfront incentive on the charging infrastructure — paid back in small monthly fees tied to the remaining install cost.

Upfront incentive: ~50% of EV charging infrastructure (EVSI) cost
Monthly fee: ~1.2% of remaining EVSI cost (+1.3% if Dominion supplies the EVSE)
Who qualifies: Multi-family, workplace, transit on Dominion NC service
DCFC option: Separate make-ready program for DC Fast Charging
